Daniel Hanss (Dipl. Business Psychology, University of Lueneburg, Germany, 2005) is a research fellow and doctoral candidate at the DICE-Lab.
Daniel studies consumer decisions that help promote sustainable development. An example is the purchasing of ecological and fair trade groceries.
His main research questions are: How do consumers understand the sustainability concept in general and sustainable consumption in particular? What psychological variables, such as values, time perspective, and self-efficacy beliefs, explain sustainable consumption? How can sustainable consumption be promoted?
Before joining the DICE-Lab in 2008 he worked as a research consultant for GfK, an international market research institute, headquartered in Nuremberg (Germany).
